From Maretório to Blue NDCs: Coastal and Indigenous Peoples at the Core of Climate Justice

National Safeguards Recommendations developed in Brazil will be launched in this panel to highlight how IPLCs in Brazil are rights holders in the blue carbon agenda. The country, home to the second largest mangrove carbon sink, is building pathways to show how inclusive blue carbon actions can support climate justice and strengthen equitable Blue NDCs.
