Africa is a global leader in innovative ocean-climate solutions. This high-level session will convene leaders from across the region and beyond to elevate key success stories, opportunities and challenges facing Africa’s ocean-climate agenda. In 2026, the Our Ocean Conference hosted by Kenya represents a critical opportunity to showcase and accelerate this leadership. In this session Kenya will launch their priorities for the 11th conference under the theme ‘Our Ocean, Our Heritage, Our Future’.
