Global cooperation is vital to ocean understanding and today’s challenges such as climate change, overexploitation and geopolitical shifts reinforce the urgency of this need. Yet, achieving meaningful cooperation is increasingly complex. This session explores evolving collaboration across sectors, shares best practices, and identifies strategies to overcome barriers. It highlights global initiatives and promotes ocean justice, equity, and science diplomacy to address pressing ocean challenges.
