Accelerating Blue Action: Blue Pacific Ocean Pathway to COP31

The Blue Pacific has repeatedly conveyed to the world the vital importance of the ocean to its peoples – their identity, culture and livelihoods. Since UNFCCC COP23, the Pacific has stepped up advocacy to leverage the consideration of the ocean-climate nexus within the UNFCCC Processes and continues to build alignment between ocean-climate-biodiversity challenges. This high-level panel of ocean leaders will accelerate momentum built at COP28, COP29, & UNOC3 to build an ocean pathway to COP31.
